CAPE GRACE CONNECT
CG connect is a secure online platform and requires a password for access. If you do not have a password please click here to request a login and password.
The rates available will be as per your negotiated STO contract and will include all packages that are available at the time of your enquiry.
Once a reservation has been made a confirmation will be emailed to the email address supplied during the reservation process. If you do not receive an email confirmation please contact our Reservations Department directly so we can investigate.
You may retrieve your reservation with your confirmation number to move it from provisional to confirmed, or change a quotation to provisional or confirmed status. You can also cancel the reservation via CG connect, however, for any amendments please contact our Reservations Department directly to assist you with your requirements
Yes, quote functionality is available via CG connect. Log in to CG connect and enter the dates required, room type and contact information and select 'Send Quotation' A quotation will then be sent to the email address stipulated.
Quotes and Provisional reservations may be held as follows:
- For arrivals in the month - 24 hours
- For arrivals within 3 months - 14 days
- For arrivals beyond 3 months - up to 1 month
Expired quotations or provisional reservations will be subject to a re-quote and room availability. It is recommended that guests be encouraged to secure their reservations as soon as possible to avoid unwanted rate fluctuations.
'Confirm a quotation' functionality is available via CG connect and all that is required is your quotation number. If the quotation is valid the option will come up to make a reservation however if your quotation does not appear this could be because it has expired. If you require any further assistance or information please do not hesitate to contact our Reservations Department directly.
CGconnect allows you to select up to 3 rooms at a time when making a booking. These 3 rooms will however, all need be of the same room category and the room will only appear if all 3 of those room categories are available.
CG also connect gives you the opportunity to 'Make another booking' after you have made the initial reservation for one room. Should you select "Make another booking" the information from the initial reservation will be pre-populated avoiding the unnecessary task of inputting the information again. At this stage you will also be able to select a different room type or arrival and departure date as required.
The Cape Grace Reservations team will always be available to assist with any requirements regarding reservations, rates or availability. Whilst the new integration system allows for a quicker and easier booking option, you're welcome to still continue to use our Reservations team.
Dynamic Demand-Based Pricing
Dynamic demand-based pricing is often known as BAR or Best Available Rate and is widely used throughout the airline and international travel and tourism industry. Dynamic demand-based pricing means that price will fluctuate according to supply and demand.
STO rates will run parallel to the DDP rate and commissions will always be protected, irrespective of how the rate fluctuates.
CG connect facilitates integration with the Cape Grace property management system, enabling real-time access to rates and available inventory according to the dates you request.
The rate at which the provisional reservation was being held will be honoured, provided that it is within the hold period of the booking. Please feel free to contact us directly to discuss any situations where specific rate assistance is required.
Once a booking is confirmed at specific rate, that rate cannot be changed unless the reservation is cancelled or re-booked. There is no rule preventing this. However it is in the best interest of both parties concerned to confirm at the original rate. It would be a time consuming and laborious task to continuously cancel and re-book reservations and we would prefer that you contact us directly to discuss options for a mutually agreeable outcome.

We understand that brochure programs are dependent on static rates and for this reason, have kept our Luxury Room rate static for the contract period to assist with quoting on programs that require fixed pricing.
